Sat 20th Oct from 11am to 4pm – Early Christmas Fair at The Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls.
Have you started your Christmas Shopping yet? Come to our Early Christmas Fair for Ideas and Gifts to make your Christmas special. We have Xmas Decorations, Jewellery and Clothing, Home wares and Collectables, Food and Health Products.
Browse our many stalls and sample our Light Lunches, Snacks and Cakes with a cup of coffee or Tea. Treat yourself to a Mince Pie or Mulled Wine to get into the Christmas Spirit.
You might think it’s a little Early to be talking Christmas, but if you make a start now, you will not have the last minute mad panic in December. You will be able to enjoy the Carols and Festivities knowing your Christmas is all sorted.
On a separate note, we will be selling Christmas Puddings at the Fair in aid of the St Michael’s Church Bell & Clock Restoration Fund. There will also be Guided Tours of the Church Bell Tower so you can make your donation and see what the money is being raised for.

Sat 3rd Nov – JUMBLE SALE at the Glebe Hall, Winterbourne Earls. Proceeds to Winterbourne Glebe Hall (Registered Charity). Donations of Jumble accepted at the Hall from 9.30am to 11am.
Thurs 8th Nov, Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start. WINTER TALK SERIES 2018/19 at Newton Tony Memorial Hall – Dan Miles on "Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree" Recording WW1 graffiti on Salisbury Plain. Did you know that Figheldean was a tourist attraction during the 14/18 war? Dan, hopefully, will arrange a visit to Figheldean Church show us the scribblings on walls in church and then visit the war graves cemetery at Durrington. Entry Fee £2.50 per person (includes light refreshments).

November – Bourne Valley Scouts will be taking part in the Scout Christmas Post 2018 as in previous years. The scheme aims to sell special Stamps & to deliver your Christmas Cards to a defined area in Salisbury & South Wiltshire. For further details, contact Jon Moores 01980 611614.

Sat 17th Nov at 8pm – GIGSPANNER in Concert at Winterbourne Glebe Hall SP4 6HA featuring Peter Knight, one of the foremost fiddle players of his generation, and member of folk supergroup Steelye Span between 1970 & 2013. To quote Sir Terry Pratchett "Peter Knight can spin the world on his bow".
